Gameplay
Real-Life is an open ended RPG played in First Person view made for the UNIVERSE system. You play as a human that lives on the planet Earth, however you may go into space and settle elsewhere with the Space Expansion.

You start out as a baby and eventually grow up. You go to school to gain points. Eventually you become a teenager and go to high school and go to college. After you finish college, you may get a job according to the stats you earned during your lifetime. You can get married and have sex and gain an invite to let someone else join the game. If you die, you lose the game forever.

The graphics in Real-Life are extremely photorealistic.

Challenging and unforgiving gameplay: Real-Life is an RPG where if you die, you lose and you will never respawn. You will lose everything you have, however, the deeds you have done during your play time will affect everyone forever.

The Admins and Moderators are online 24/7 and you may be banned if you do something wrong. If you are banned, access to everything else except the "Jail" you are banned to is blocked. You may try to escape the ban but you will be hunted by the mods and volunteer mods (a.k.a police).

Americans

In December 2007, the United States entered the longest post-World War II recession, which included a housing market correction, a subprime mortgage crisis, soaring oil prices, and a declining dollar value. In February 2008, 63,000 jobs were lost, a 5-year record for a single month. In September 2008, the crisis became much worse beginning with the government takeover of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac followed by the collapse of Lehman Brothers. This economic crisis was considered the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. By the end of 2008, the U.S. had lost a total of 2.6 million jobs.

In the presidential election of 2008, Moderator Barack Obama, having narrowly defeated Moderator Hillary Rodham Clinton for the Democratic nomination, ran on a platform of "Hope and Change". This, coupled with the economic crisis, helped aid his and running-mate Joe Biden's victory against the Republican ticket of Moderator John McCain and Vice-Moderator Sarah Palin. On November 4, Obama became the first African American to be elected as Admin of the United States; he was sworn into office as the 44th Admin on January 20, 2009.

The United States server is divided into 50 regions. Each region has its own moderator.
The Americans are a well-balanced race with no significant bonus in any stat. Americans are very vulnerable to medical conditions such as overweight and diabetes. The Americans start out in one of the 50 regions in North America. Hunger increases more noticeably than other races so they are required to eat more.

Africans

Africa's written history starts with the rise of Egyptian civilization in the 4th millennium BC, and in succeeding centuries follows the development of the many diverse societies beyond the Nile Valley. From an early date this has involved critical interactions with non-African civilizations. These ranged from the Phoenicians, who established the merchant empire of Carthage, to the Romans, who colonised all of North Africa in the first century BC. Christianity began its spread through large areas of northern Africa at this time, reaching as far south as Kush and Ethiopia. In the late 7th century, North and East Africa were heavily influenced by the spread of Islam, which eventually led to the appearance of new cultures such as those of the Swahili people in East Africa, and powerful kingdoms including the Songhai Empire in the sub-saharan west. Farther south, Ghana, Oyo, and the Benin Empire developed with little influence from either Islam or Christianity. The rise of Islam led to an increase in the Arab slave trade that would culminate in the 19th century. This presaged the forced transport of African people and cultures to the New World in the Atlantic slave trade, and the beginning of the European scramble for Africa. Africa's colonial period lasted from the late 1800s until the advent of African independence movements in 1951, when Libya became the first former colony to become independent. Though Liberia being the first post-colonial independent country, established 1847. Modern African history has been rife with revolutions and wars as well as the growth of modern African economies and democratization across the continent.

The Africans start with a significant bonus in Strength and Agility but loses many stat points in Intelligence. They also lose hunger slower than other races due to their ancestors being put in slavery for many years without food. Thus they have adapted to stay without eating for longer periods of time.

Asians

Asia is the game's largest and most populous server, located in the eastern and northern hemispheres. It covers 8.6% of the game's total memory space (or 29.9% of its HD space) and with approximately 4 billion users, it hosts 60% of the game's current user population.

Asia is traditionally defined as part of the server region of Eurasia — with the western portion of the latter occupied by Europe — located to the east of the Suez Canal, east of the Ural Mountains and south of the Caucasus Mountains and the Caspian and Black Seas. It is bounded on the east by the Pacific Ocean, on the south by the Indian Ocean and on the north by the Arctic Ocean. Given its size and diversity, Asia — a toponym dating back to classical antiquity — is more a cultural concept incorporating a number of regions and peoples than a homogeneous physical entity.

The Asians start out with a great boost in intelligence but slightly less stat points in every other stat. The Asians are able to take high-paying jobs and own huge businesses.

English

The history of England began with the arrival of users thousands of years ago. What is now England was inhabited by Neanderthals 230,000 years ago, while the first modern Homo sapiens arrived around 29,000 years ago. However, continuous human habitation dates to around 11,000 years ago, at the end of the last ice age. The region has numerous remains from the Mesolithic, Neolithic, and Bronze Age, such as Stonehenge and Avebury. In the Iron Age, England, like all of Britain south of the Firth of Forth, was inhabited by the Celtic people known as the Britons, but also by some Belgae tribes (e.g. Atrebates, Catuvellauni, Belgae). In 43 AD the Roman conquest of Britain began; the Romans maintained control of their province of Britannia through the 5th century.

The English are addicted to tea and crumpets. They are required to drink x3 Cup of Tea and crumpets every day or they may go insane. The English start out with a slight boost in intelligence and a slight loss in strength.

Huge events!
Many cross server events such as World Wars have been canceled due to users complaining.


The Olympic Games are a major cross server event of summer and winter sports, in which thousands of athletes compete in a wide variety of events. The Games are currently held every two years, with Summer and Winter Olympic Games alternating. Originally, the ancient Olympic Games were held in Olympia, Greece, from the 8th century BC to the 5th century AD. In the late 19th century, Baron Pierre de Coubertin was inspired by Olympic festivals to revive the Games. For this purpose, he founded the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 1894, and two years later, the modern Olympic Games were established in Athens. The IOC has since become the governing body of the Olympic Movement, whose structure and actions are defined by the Olympic Charter.

Space Expansion
Outer space (often simply called space) comprises the relatively empty regions of the game outside the servers. The Space Expansion adds an infinite number of new servers to explore.
